S. Kulk, 'Internet Intermediaries and Copyright Law. Towards a Future-proof EU Legal Framework' 2018.

In November 2018, I defended my PhD thesis on the liability of internet intermediaries for copyright infringements. The book contains chapters on European Union, German, Dutch and United States law. The thesis is based on the premise that the field of intermediary liability and copyright law are subject to technological changes that create uncertainty and may render the law less effective. The ultimate aim of the thesis is to provide recommendations for designing future-proof intermediary liability and copyright law.

Full-text copies are available on SSRN and on ResearchGate. A brief Dutch language summary is available here.

An updated version of my thesis was published with Kluwer International Law. It is available here.
